I'm LOVING that football season is HERE!
We flew home to BAMA to see the kickoff of Crimson Tide Football. It was smoldering hot but I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Scotty and I met after an Alabama game and told each I Love You for the first time on the way to Alabama's first game 4 years ago. lame I know. :)
I am LOVING that we are in full blown wedding mode now. While we were home my family threw us a small shower and I got to see everyone for a while. My grandmother took it upon herself to make sure I had a nice time. She did so by making sure there were plenty of yummy snacks around.
I am LOVING that a friend of mine from high school is coming to stay the weekend with us. He is in the Coast Guard and is stationed in NC so hopefully we will all get to hang out more often.
I am LOVING my Big-ish News:
The board approved adding an additional 2nd grade unit at our school! Guess who will be filling the position? ME! I am ecstatic. I have been so blessed with having a job at a wonderful school, but having my own classroom of kiddos everyday is even more fantastic. Now I am having to redo the entire set up of my classroom and catch up with everything most teachers do over the summer. Only I have to do it in a week! EEK! I will have lots of help and support from everyone in my building so I know this transition is going to go smoothly.
